How to use camera and controller presets

Atavism 10.12.0+

In Atavism 10.12 you can use simple camera and controller presets. They are predefined settings for some easy-to-use use cases. For the camera, it will be top down, with or without rotation, 3d, with or without zoom, and for the controller, it is click to move or 3rd person.

You can modify these presets, but it’s not recommended, instead, you can apply these presets to your own settings, effectively creating something similar like the preset but adjusted by you. We also added a lot of parameters to give you more control over these two elements. For example, for a camera, there are zoom curves where you can define a specific position of the camera based on its distance, as well as smooth out the movement.

Then these settings can be assigned globally or per-instance basis in the Instance Settings.
